The story has really captivated me and even moved to tears several times. The brilliant soundtrack was it not quite unconcerned.
The controller has been here over Heavy Rain, greatly improved. Man draws character and camera now quite common with the sticks, as in any conventional Adventure. Aiden controlling like a first person shooter with activated Noclip fashion.
The criticism of some reviewers that there is more film than play, I can not share.
After all, you have to Jodie and Aiden yes still move through the levels and do certain things in order to reach the goal.
That does not die or you may fail me does not bother really. Today Game Over screens are but superfluous in most games because you eh repeatedly as carries on where you died.
What is, however, led me, inter alia, to the point deductions, the fact that the game many, completely unnecessary actions requires the player. So I bemängle the exact opposite of the "More movie as a game" -Rezensionen.
So a lot of superfluous dialogue options are kept. It has often times the choice of different subjects in conversation. If you have selected three of four themes, the real story course then goes further times. Funnily enough, is in some cases exactly the topic that I would actually like addressed (eg What would that just almost killed me?) Not to vote.
Or you have to tap the right stick in the middle of video sequences suddenly so Jodie example opens an envelope. After that, the sequence goes but, without any further action by the player on. What then ever touch this one time to stick to?
Many actions are actually just trivialities, without which the game but does not go on. It does not proceed before not then again turns in bed only to the left and to the right.
But we come to greatest shortcoming on my part: The freedom of choice, or the impact on the course.
Precisely these were the points that made Heavy Rain to as an exceptional gaming experience. In Beyond: Two Souls but most decisions have consequences for the rest.
There are 4 of 22 episodes that affect the end the outcome. The remaining episodes it does not matter, as they are based. It is never mentioned again in the further course.
So I can peacefully finish an episode by going just go away, or I'll let the pig out and run amok, for example. When I had the choice I had to think about which way I want to pursue in the game since. Good or evil. But later I realized that it did not matter because it does not affect future episodes. The only difference is the end of each episode, and even here there are some minimal differences.
Also you get in the game often times asked questions can be answered with yes or no. But even here it is even often do not care what you take because Jodie will do anyway in any case the same. Why do you build then ever a question as a with?
Worst of all, when Jodie then suddenly at the end of itself makes a decision that deals with everything that they have been previously let you do, contradicts. Here I felt then fucked really by the developers.
The many ends are incidentally only the penultimate videos.
That which comes right at the end is always the same (in three different versions)
I recommend buying at below 30 euros.
The epic story must have just experienced, but playful one is kidding here.
