On "Idolize Yourself" are the usual suspects such as "White Wedding," "Rebel Yell", "Flesh For Fantasy" and "Sweet Sixteen", which have to be on Billy Idol compilation. Therefore nothing new / surprising. Is commendable that with "Shock To The System", a track from the often somewhat neglected treated "cyberpunk" has found its way to the new publication. Also great is the inclusion of "Speed" from the eponymous film, a song that I like better and better over time. Strange that "speed" in his day found comparatively little attention. That addition also two new titles can be found on "Idolize Yourself" are other pluses provided by me. "John Wayne" and "New Future Weapon" are songs in the best Idol-style, ie melodies, cool guitar riffs and rock voice of Billy. Also I want to emphasize the visual design of the CD / DVD and in particular the right detailed booklet (which was not always the case).
All in all I give therefore five points because it is a successful best-of, which gives a comprehensive overview of the entire (solo) career of Billy Idol. Who wonders whether she / he is also expected to increase the deluxe edition with the videos, which I can only guess this. Because Billy's videos have always been real eye-catchers. Nevertheless, / I will not resist me at the end, to re-emphasize that the next release will hopefully be a truly new CD with new songs exclusively. After all Always just revel in the past, in the long run makes no fun.
