This is a small useful tool when you want to save time by asking lengths bias (for example), so perhaps not very academic or unorthodox, but effective. The foot snaps, I use it on a Singer Curvy 8770 and it fits without any worries. There are two small mollettes: one for adjusting the width of bite, the other to fit through the slot-laying along the width of bias used. Now, we must still recognize that if the tool saves a lot of time and, incidentally, save the thread (since sews through all at once and not twice in the traditional way), the settings sometimes tend to move and finishing is not always great regular ...
This walk me therefore been useful to ask long lengths of bias (hemming blankets, skirts circles ...), but with greater practice of sewing, I finally returned to the traditional method: Classic floor and two seams, because it seems more accurate in the end. It's all a matter of taste.
