(+) The action horror mix is outstanding, even if not quite sooooo "creepy"
(+) At the beginning plaguing a "vision"
(+) Great street fighting
(+) Is graphically been pimped the engine properly
(+), The textures of the characters have become truly super
(+) Finally a game that almost has no errors and was playable immediately after the activation on Steam - so "lucky" you have not always; o)
(+) Alma is still a pretty bad nightmare
(+) Total atmospheric production
(+) Good damage model
(+) Controllable combat robots
(+) Partially nerve-wracking fights
(+) Improvements by Item search
(+) Alma is now a small child? A young or old woman? Or is it already dead? Exciting it remains all the time
(+) A healthy selection of weapons
(+) Successful soundscape
is debatable:
(+) / (-) Splatter effects are not available in the fight against enemy units, although one sees regularly, executed with shots to the head are people in hallways. Some scenes with corpses desecrated and beheadings are seen. Likewise, the effect of the flamethrower with all its consequences is shown (the flamethrower is for example in the game - been defused by the FSK, ie taken soldiers immediately fall to the ground. "Call of Duty World at War" - but here they are running around) - because I question whether the FSK but attaches me double standards
these are the things that have I did not like:
For newcomers to the series not recommendable - ()
(-) Long-established should not pay attention to every detail story, since the act but is phased patchy
(-) I found the playing time with just over 10 hours earlier too short for a basic game
(-) In part, the passages are a little repetitive
(-) This time, one end of Alma in sight
(-) The AI I found some places worse rather than compared to its predecessor
(-) The levels are mostly linear and you end predictable
(-) These strange "ghosts" in between nerves rather than the one you hurt one; o)
The multiplayer I have not tested.
Conclusion:
"FEAR 2 - Project Origin" is overall a successful further development of the series, something entertaining, unfortunately for my taste and less scary than the previous. The engine is already badly dusty in level design. The successful effects and animations the same but from satisfactory. So I give 'FEAR 2 - Project Origin "4 stars, for a bottom line, the successful sequel, but still has potential for, especially as the number of Alma has a top leading man: o)
