this is a good book but suffers from its intermediate position, because it is obvious that it is the first in a new series in the world of the great plain. Unable to attack by this book, too many cross-references. Its strengths can also be weaknesses:
* A new couple composed of secondary characters and Heath Atira of Xilara trilogy here refreshes the universe but they lack the charisma of Lara and Keir, suddenly the tastiest times remain those where we find the beginning of heroes !!!
* A return to the kingdom of Xy: the scenery upside BOF .... .... the dream for me it was the great plains, big cities and the ravages / benefits of civilization, thank you ... . I know!
* Can be seen emerging new plots and new "bad guys": too cartoonish, I did not believe at all in suspense .... Atira and Heath have not the middle !!!! and the plot was sewn with white thread
The positives are
* Intrigue with Marcus and his promise is going to expand
* The whole universe to the new frontiers of the kingdom that will hopefully explore: new creatures and new players !!!!!!
In short a good book, a little below the previous but lays the foundation for the following .... So Must!
