For the first time I noticed that on my Mini was not the Android 4.1.1 on it, but already the 4.1.2
- I hope that was already so draufgespielt of Samsung, because otherwise I would not be obviously the first owner. Maybe someone can say whether he already had the plan 4.1.2 here someone, it is normal ...
The processing of the mobile phone is top. It looks very valuable from that built glass makes a stable impression and is not to even with stronger pressures. Again, the fingerprints hold relatively limited.
The display has a high sharpness and wonderfully vibrant colors, the touch screen is accurate.
The brightness can confidently runterstellen on 50%, though the display can still be read fairly well even in direct sunlight
- Not a foregone conclusion.
Processor and operating system do a great job with me. The phone needs only a few seconds to boot. Everything runs smoothly and reliably even jam-packed websites not hang. Software or telephone crashes? - So far not a single time.
But now to the only 2 points, which do not inspire as:
1. Write messages / e-mails: no umlauts are displayed on the keyboard even in German Language. So if you want ä, ö or ü write must output vowels a, o or u keep pressed and then drag your finger diagonally over the umlaut that appears there
- The cost of time and nerves. The problem is, unfortunately, also in other models of the Galaxy series.
Other keyboard apps you can load onto the phone, but I have no idea what is really suitable from the innumerable and also displays the umlauts. Perhaps here give a hint another customer?
2. Battery: Yes, what else .. "Do not go, there's no" appears in smartphones and their batteries do not apply.
Why still no something broader and more powerful batteries to be installed in these devices but so big, so that sometimes hold 3-4 days, my understanding eludes. The Galaxy S3 Mini is indeed less than the S3, but Samsung has also incorporated -natürlich- a weaker battery.
Long story short: For me it was over after 1.5 days. Mind you when GPS is off and switched "power saving mode".
I have not yet looked at video games gambled. Throughout the night it has lost just 2% battery. Off so you do not need it in theory.
Fortunately, the case is contrary to several "tests" not fully charged after 3, but after 2 hours.
The photo quality I would rate as satisfactory, video takes the small Galaxy even in HD.
The built-in MP3 player is great. I have an external Sony NWZ-E463, which truly convinced. The sound on the S3 Mini is however just as well and the volume topped even that of Sony.
CONCLUSION: Except for the input keyboard and the battery performance a perfect smartphone.
Up to 300 euros are available in this size (about 4 inches) obviously still no other phone that this -insgesamt- here can defy
(Xperia P Xperia J HTC Desire X? - No.)
Who does not want to wait for the S4 Mini, which will have a slightly stronger battery on board, but also in introducing juicy cash cost wird- should not superior to what is now a really good rate of 230 euros and a long strike here.
A half star deduction for the missing umlauts, no deduction for battery power, because it is normal / average for a smartphone.
From me 4.5 stars.
