The caddy I had actually bought because I no place in a compact housing had for my new SATA drive (2 of 2 seats occupied), but a lot of 3.5 "-Slots were free.
An attempt was worth me: The plate with the broken SATA connector carefully packed into the caddy - and the data recovery was perfect! So recommended beyond normal use. :)
For processing the frame or its cable: The framework is certainly not over priced at around 17 euros. I still know the caddy of 15 years ago, as one has to pay for less quality materials more. The release mechanism is working properly and the plate is then ready for use when the lock is not locked. Closing the front enough.
The cables are securely mounted to the rear of the drive carrier. There are no plug-ins (which could be possibly canceled by clumsy, thick fingers;) (!)).
I am very satisfied with the quality of the frame and can recommend him warmest. Whether I'll still buy another frame? Once again there is a need -> guaranteed!
