The choice fell on this player and the gift was not only accepted, but was already frequently use. Of course I was then curious and wanted to know why this device was so well received. So I have the player on loan and tested a whole weekend.
The sound with the supplied headphones is very good and also the bass get along well despite the small handset to bear. The headphones fit snugly when you can not just be for headbangers ;-)
Even the cable is long enough so that you can store the player in a pocket.
The battery lasted for continuous operation just over 30 hours, which is a very good performance. The operation is very simple. After switching on the menu appears with the selection of the appropriate function. In the music menu you can select according to various criteria such as album, artist, etc.. This only works if the appropriate ID3 tag is present. If not, you can display the menu item Folder the file level.
The player remembers after turning the last position, which is useful for audiobooks and saves tiresome coils.
For MP3 playback, the display is large enough so that you can see well at a glance all the important. It can even be read in sunlight still relatively good!
The housing is high quality and so the Sony Player looks much more noble than the many cheap players that cost only half.
The only drawback is the charger cable. This is once again Sony-specific. Why did you here can obstruct any normal mini USB socket? This will cost a star.
The other features such as games, pictures and videos I have not rated because they are relatively unattractive in the small display.
My Conclusion:
The player is ideal for people who like it simple and put a high value on good workmanship. Those who like to listen to audio books, should look at the player also accurate.
