Yesterday I received from you the BIGtec Aluminium USB 3.0 high-speed external hard disk enclosure 6,35cm (2.5 ") SATA black. The delivery was very quick. The housing is not bad by the processing and optics. A commercially available 2.5 "S-ATA hard drive fits into any problems, but it did not work! With a magnifying glass, I saw on the board some very bad solder joints and multiple solder splashes, and flux residues: After I nachlötete these solder joints on the board ("cold solder joints" on the connector to the hard disk) - I'm from the Electronics and loose solder splashes on the board I, which resulted in "shorts" between the Bauteillötstellen eliminated, the housing has been identified as AS 2105 under WIN 8.1. The processing of the board is simply extremely bad. However, the attachment of the board on the front panel is deficient, glued with hot glue: This Einklebung the board has already been solved already after the first plugging in the USB cable (without the internal hard drive). Could however be adhered by a 2-component adhesive back. After a lot of repair costs through me, now the BIGtec Aluminium USB 3.0 High-speed external hard disk enclosure makes it what it is.

Update from 11/28/2013:
The USB 3-socket on the drive casing has contact problems - bad contact in the socket housing to the voltage supply pins! However, the solder joints of the socket on the board are OK I have now disposed of the adapter to the recycling center and only kept the included USB cable. At EUR 10.50 yes not even worth the organizational effort to return the housing.
