Only for hardcore fans

I had very happy about it, when I learned that the game comes out in Germany and thought it would therefore immediately bought. After a short time I have regretted it, because the game is soooooo boring! But one by one.

One should always start with the positive things:

+ You can re-enact the story of One Piece
+ The videos are very nicely animated
+ The combat system also
+ Original Japanese voice acting

Yes, more positive there is to it. Here are a few things that are indeed negative, but not too distracting:

~ The movement in the game takes place a bit too slow for my taste. In addition, there are occasional stuttering that make the movements are almost in slow motion.
~ During the fighting appear to be two different rings, one yellow and one red. This allowed the figures actually not transgressed, because otherwise they would get aufgebrummt penalties. In this way, the developers wanted to probably bring tactical depth, which I think is not at all but succeeded. The penalties do not seem to really have an impact on the fighting, unless you crossing the red line.

Now the negative things that take the game fun:

- Let's stay with the combat system. Opponents do not have LP-bar. To display the record, the name of the opponent is displayed in three different colors, but this is not really showing how many matches he has yet to collect.
- The opponent is not reversible during the fight. Pro can train a character attack five times. Let's say, Zoro attacked the enemy, leaving the LP switch from green to red. Then Luffy's turn and need to defeat the enemy, only two attacks. Unfortunately it is not possible that Luffy sets up the remaining three attacks against a new opponent and is forced to attack a "corpse". - The level of difficulty of the fighting fluctuates constantly between two extreme: hard ridiculously easy and ridiculously. The latter applies to the boss fights.

- Area of ​​the territories is so barren and lifeless. All islands look alike. As well someone did not want to take care of the backgrounds. This one has even - and I can not believe I'm saying this - better hingekriegt in One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP.
- There is no manual for the game. How some things work, you can learn only by the statements that come up during the transition scenes. So I learned that you can improve your attacks by certain points, when I was already in place with Don Creek. An earlier declaration would have facilitated the previous fights safely.
- The story of One Piece will be shown in some cases very lengthy comic sequences. In the background is an image from the anime and before appear images of the characters who have just tuned and speech bubbles. The one who is speaking, pulsates its image. I know that the story of One Piece is far too long, to represent them in detail, but that could have been done differently anyway. Conclusion: The game was an absolute bad buy. I have played only up to the point with Arlong, I was fed up. If others find great, I want them as not purely talking, but for me it's the worst One Piece game of all. Self Unlimited Cruise SP made me more fun, although I am also very excited about it.
So who is an absolute hardcore fan, the series does not know or a game like this might can access calm. Everyone else should it prefer to think again or borrow it only once or so.
