"Incesticide" is exactly as what it came on the market: A collection of hit songs, songs that were previously on any album. No more and no less. The 3 stars are for the songs "Dive," "Sliver", "Been A Son" and "Aneurysm" (not going on, but 4 stars would be definitely too much !!!), all of which are milestones in the history of Nirvana and Grunges were at all. The remainder consists of cover versions that originally were already bad (such as "Molly's Lips"), "Depri music" (Big Long Now) or seemingly uncontrolled yelling not UNCD matching grunge chords ("Beeswax"). Partly is still a good approach to identify (as in "Mexican Seafood"), but in the end was not enough made of it. Only for the true Nirvana fan! This album does not have much of "Nevermind", "In Utero", "Unplugged in New York" or "From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah". It's more in the direction of "Bleach". Who liked, could also gutfinden "Incesticide".
