I bought the motion sensor for a somewhat unusual purpose. Our cat draws its water through a drinking fountain, which is powered by electricity. This works well and the cat drinks since a lot more than before. Thus the wells but does not have to run 24/7, we first tried it with a timer. However, it soon became clear, the water must then be available when the cat wants it and not the timer. So the logical conclusion was a motion. The article looks pretty cheap and dissolute assembled. A timer in the same price bracket was against processed significantly superior. The operation is very easy for it, even without the (in any case only three lines comprehensive) operating instructions it can immediately go. The plug does its job, but only at dusk and at night. During the day registered the motion sensor no movement, even though it was set in accordance with and according to the description is to function well during the day. I thought it was a defect, have complained about and get a replacement, but the error persists. If the sensor responds, but he does so promptly and even my cat can trigger him playing from ten feet away.
Conclusion: Those looking for an affordable solution for a night light and whom sufficient the maximum timer of 4 minutes, is well advised here. For use in daylight I can not recommend the device.
