I have to admit, the Stick X was bigger than I had the impression in the picture. Looks stable, the page with the joystick slightly wobbles at the disassembly of the two parts. On the bottom there is even a control for the resistance of the spring, which I did not expect in a mid-range device. Great! Joystick and throttle are also very comfortable to hold and easy to move.
To feel:
Yes, this thing has a relatively large dead zone in the middle of what I do not personally feel bad. That for some reason no longer is a precise control of the ship / aircraft made possible, I do not think so. Could so easily fly around asteroids, perform various stunts, quite precise shooting etc. What still needs to be tested is PvP, otherwise a great part. With the throttle, the speed is quite simple rules, who, however, with let's say 26 m / s will heat through space, needs a lot of tact. It should be noted would be the narrow dead zone here.
Conclusion:
Who takes up the T.Flight Hotas Stick X, which gets a lot for little money. Since this is my first joystick, I can not comment on other devices. From that here I am, however, convinced that a strong buy recommendation!
