Have a way sought my HP Color LaserJet 4500 (with JetDirect 615N network) from the Android Device in use. The Jetdirect understands PCL and PostScript. The original HP Printer app finds the device but in power, because this app is designed for DACs (no manual configuration possible) and can automatically communicate with newer HP's, so it is therefore only intended for to force the sale of new printers. Looking for an alternative I came across PrinterShare. This app does exactly what it should: She finds the old HP and a printout is possible. So far, the expression is not correct color with the driver automatically set, I will test the generic PCL and PostScript drivers generic. NOTE: USB printer, which are at a EasyBox 803A in the network via LPD, are recognized but they can not be addressed.
