After 3 weeks of tests in several sports and contexts (roller skatepark, bike trail, diving, timelapse etc), I must admit that the image quality is there, even in dim light I get to have something exploitable mostly. The screen is really convenient (poor owners gopro) but I must admit that the buttons are not very ergonomic, touch screen change everything. I note still a lot of bugs in the system, be it in or even timelapse video. The camera turns off by itself and gets stuck on the red light, neither completely lit nor damage, and will not answer. Forced to remove the battery and restart. I do more still can not check the wifi from my iphone 4, though I followed the instructions and tried dozens of times x) Another little surprise over the gopro - although having a standard tripod socket is great - is difficult to attach it to his head. Include the frontal headband attachment in the pack is a good idea knowing that it is the main use for a lot of sports! The remote control is really great, super convenient, emits a beep at the beginning and end of the recording to prevent. The idle 120fps at 720p is not a gimmick, and offers a pretty good dive for this resolution. The 1080p is itself rich enough with good color rendition for this type of camera, and always honest dive.
The Drift S is still a very good product, I could turn an entire edit of skating without complaining and dozens of test plans without major problems. But on the software part, it really should upgrade ...
