The tuner of my TV broke down, so I bought this decoder is good because it allows me to have all channels TNT HD (including 24 new channels RMC discovery, number 23, 21, 22 etc. ...
By cons I have some regrets:
I bought an HDMI cable to connect via this cable and it does not work at all. The device transmits nothing on TV. So I have to unplug my DVD player to connect the decoder to the SCART TNT. Maybe due to my c'set TV tuner that is faulty, but I'll never know.
By cons it works very well with the scart cable (not supplied).
I do not use the recorder so I can not say anything on it.
My TV and decoder are on a power strip that I cut every night which helped to find another fault: when cut the power for a few minutes and you put it back the unit returns to certain settings defaults for sound and audio language. Thus every day the sound level is in the middle income and English language audio. There are two parameters for setting the language and at first I had set on French language for both. And when I came across an American program as "friends" or "the big bang theory" I had English lyrics while all French programs were in French.
