Of course it is always difficult to talk about a Volume 2 without spoiling too much on volume 1.
Let's say that this novel takes up the story fifteen years after the events described at the end of White Cloud Country. We stay with family, following this time especially the fate of Kura and Elaine, both granddaughters Gwyneira and Helen.
I must admit that during the first few pages, I was a bit scared, because the characters seemed to me much less than endearing heroines of the first volume ... and then finally, it is caught by their adventures and you end up devour the last third of the novel in one sitting.
And suddenly, again a great time reading ... and I await the third and final part of this family saga and New Zealand forward (not to the point of reading in German, anyway ...) .
