For storage, a refrigerator already exists to produce the correct temperature - the usual room temperature for red wine is generally too high. It only lacked a way to minimize the oxygen content in the bottle and close the bottle safely.
As I came across the Vacu Vin. The product impressed me very much. It closes the bottle reliably suspected almost to its original condition. Even after a good week, the vacuum in the bottle is not stable - it can be pumped off any further air. When you open the bottle vacuumed again hear the distinct hiss of incoming air - depending on the level of the bottle more or less pronounced.
