Good Tab what a real MID comes very close.

The first thing you should do when the tab is an update to the latest version of Archos.

Negative points:
- Display reflects, but so far reflect all tabs that I had in my hand (IPad2, Samsung 10.1, A500 etc etc).

- SD card looks 1mm out during insertion.
- USB 2.0 connector which normally comes in the 3G modem can only be used by the modem. USB flash drives are not recognized dadrüber.
- The default browser needs a little longer to build the page. Especially when scrolling the page will have a block structure.
- Entering in the search field or fields in the Market or browser a bit slow.
- Apps now and then crash.
- Many games do not run on the tab, because processor or GPU, especially 3D games.
- Other Market version must be installed so that you can download everything.
- Volume control may interfere when hällt the Tab in portrait mode to read for example.
- UPnP Server recognition now and then does not work until you restart again. The same with SMB,
- Plays 10 bit H.264 not from, well what device on the market that can ever ^^ (common 8bit H.264 without problems)?
- Some popular codecs you have to buy the Cinema plug-in from Archos for 15 Euro.

Positive points:
- Viewing angle and screen generally have improved compared to the G8.

- Play up to 1080p without problems. In 1080p should make sure that you have a fast SD card. Stuttering at 1080p only come into existence when the SD card is too slow and the bit rate of the video stream is too high. 1080p test was carried out by UPnP with 150Mbit Wlan.
- Runs fairly smoothly, from time to time 1-2s depends if it was a long operation in stand bye or from within an application is the amount of RAM used.
- SMB and UPnP run quite well on 90% of the time.

Who wants to play more on a tablet is a PSP / PS Vita, 3DS or to a tablet with Tegra2 chip should pick.
To read or play videos, the tablet must be entpfehlen, but it's a lot cheaper than other tabs.
On the whole I am satisfied with the Tab and will keep it for now. For Anime playing with subs, the device is nearly ideal, except for the fact that there is no 10bit H.264 can. Mangas online / offline reading (S / W) is acceptable under normal sunlight (illumination on max).
Some of the negative points can be fixed via software, let's see if Archos hinkriegt that.

Archos has the update 3.2.61 published for the tablet which 2 important points fixes.

1. The Standard Market was replaced by the version 3.1.7 and there is no more error message when you try what widget from Market.

2. It now run most games from the Market on the Archos. Many games which previously did not allow themselves to start or crashed are now run properly.
