I want's put it this way: The other day I sat down with the new boxes on the PC and a real-time strategy game was and the boxes were not even asked to particularly loud, I do not want to be deaf yes. Anyway, after a while my daughter came down the stairs and asked if it would be a storm, they would have heard such deep thunder. So much for the bass. I'm very pleased with the boxes.
