Am satisfied, however, software is upgradeable

Had acquired FREE safety pocket in the Amazon Lightning offer favorably TomTom Go 50 Premium Pack incl. 1 year long. Since I previously had only TomTom Navis, I found my way equal. In online account I could delete my old TomTom Navi and activate the new seamlessly with my same email address without having to create a new account.
PC connection to My Drive Connect has run at all, and there were all "only" updates installed, it took some time, but more importantly, it was because a lot of yes complain about PC connection / sync problems. Luckily I had never PC connection issues with my TomTom devices.
The display responds quite well so far to pressure (resistive touch screen), the zoom with 2 fingers I do not miss. The display is not quite as shiny rather kept somewhat dull as the Go 500/600, but it does not reflect so hot.
The surface is completely new, but I've found my way immediately. The Pairing with phone worked well right away, sometimes it takes namely until the TomTom Traffic service is connected, but that could be due to the bad phone reception when the smartphone of 3G will change to 2G.
The menu is clearly designed, but slimmed down considerably and many functions, there is no longer, I miss you, among other things, the populating own POIs and these can be displayed on the map / route (POIbase).
Then I miss the 3D signs at highways, as I recently drove highway, and had abbfahren, were shown me no 3D signage, but only arrows. This is a familiarization, and I found very helpful in my old TomTom.
Voice Control I tested and worked, only have to remember a lot of preset phrases, but they are listed in the menu.
The route guidance was always good, you can also calculate alternatives in the menu, this is unfortunately not made automatically. Here I would find it good if you plan a route that can be displayed and select equal to 3 routes.
Also I miss that one no longer can display where you are exactly, "SOS / emergency / Help" button. If you sometimes breaks down and does not know exactly where you are.
I hope that TomTom still on the software performs improvements and responding to customer needs and this subsequently files via update.
Whether TomTom Traffic works reliably I can not say because I was shown nothing in the bar, but I live in the countryside and not in a big city.
Well also it now Lifetime Maps and Traffic are Life, as long as the device is Supportet.
Otherwise, I have the Navi still can not test much, but it makes me from A to B.
I am satisfied so far with the purchase and am curious what TomTom still so holds to modifications of the software.
The suction cup holds Bombenfest, only unfortunately the bracket a little harder to remove if you want to be mounted in the car the suction cup, to get there ran poorly. It would have been good if the Go 50 had the support from the Go 500/500.
The included in the Premium Pack Bag is very small, and it fits in even the Navi without holder / suction cup, and even then just like that. So if you want to accommodate cable and mount in addition, that does not work with this bag.

Update 3/21/2015: Have now the Navi used very often and has to complain about, the leaves to be desired, the reaction of the display left, it is very sluggish, it takes a long time after the tapping until something stirred yet. Hope that TT can rectify update via software here.
