Am still uncertain

Have the unit received today and once tested shortly. He ran against the VDAC-2 (via Hi-Face2) .... well.
the VDAC has clearly the better midrange and crisp seems somehow ... The NAD has its strengths in the really exceptionally good sound staging. The musicians appear in person in the room to stehen..großartig.
What is currently bugging me a little display of sampling ... here is the stoic 44.1 displays via USB, although I feed the DAC with music files from Linn (24bit / 192kHz) ... and I do not understand ..
White currently not yet know if I should keep it, or against a REGA-R Remote austausche..mmmh

Addendum:
The lack of the sampling display had done fairly quickly, as I choose in the XBMC WASAPI mode ... was perfect after that.
I can not understand why the manufacturer has included not just such operation in a single device, which is remotely controlled, however. The orig. NAD remote control you can reorder for about 35 Euros more when certified dealer ... na toll :-(
The device was eventually but back to the dealer (return was absolutely straightforward - thumb up!) Because this DAC aufspielte me a little too pushy (bass). A relaxed listening to me was not possible with this device.
