I was for many years a loyal customer of the brand Braun shavers.
Unfortunately, I have the model "360 degrees complete" annoyed several times about the lack of quality:
The chrome coating flaked off over time.
The shaving head technology was changed after some time in the spare parts for the worse (razor plucked recently and shaving was less thoroughly - other buyers also reported dieem nationwide problem.)
This is unacceptable for a top model.
Because I then thoroughly fed up of Braun shavers, I switched to Panasonic and that the model ES-LA93.
What a difference: significantly closer shave with less shaving.
In addition, the problem of ingrown hair with corresponding dermatitis occurred much less frequently.
As disadvantages the very loud cleaning station, the difficult to clean the tank and the price / availability of supplies were mentioned.

Now, after 4 years of the ES-LA93 is weakening battery, which is absolutely normal for LiIon batteries.
As for me, the benefits have outweighed the disadvantages by far, I now ordered me the appropriate successor to Panasonic ES-LV95.
(Like its predecessor, again without risk, since Panasonic offers a money-back guarantee).
To make it short:
I'm excited. The new LV95 makes everything better than the LA93:
SHAVER
- Shaving more thoroughly (smooth as a baby-butt when I min shaving invest 7-8)
- Razor glide gently over the skin and adapts even better to the facial contours
- Shaver is partly like a glove by the improved thumb rest in the hand
- Shaving sound is pleasantly quiet
- The on / off switch is better protected against accidental actuation.
- Design and feel are excellent for my taste (I found the LA93 rather ugly).
- (The now even more shaving head still prepares me for my facial contours NO problems - I'll be all very well out)
CLEANING STATION
- The cleaning station has become much quieter.
This applies to the circulation pump and the drying fan. Only the sound when the shaving head is vibrating, is still quite loud (it only intermittently and only for the first 10 minutes).
A little tip on the edge:
I have the cleaning station, as well as its predecessor already, just banished to my Spiegelschränkchen - since is very little heard.
The tank for the cleaning liquid is probably better to clean because now open (I have not tried).
The annoying Geblinke the LA93 during and after the cleaning process has finally come to an end at LV95 (well done).
In addition, the status LEDs are now more intuitive to understand.
The cable routing has been improved (plug is no longer laterally).
The design of the cleaning station now looks much more modern / valent.

What I like less:
Until yesterday was the cleaning liquid virtually nowhere available (internet research and razor-shop on site).
Only on request from the Panasonic support it is at once still listed as in stock at Panasonic shop. Disadvantage of genuine Panasonic vs. Store. Amazon: No delivery to freight stations, an additional shipping fee is required, no debit, no cash.
Because now cleaning cartridge has been changed to increase cleaning concentrate in foil bags of formerly, unfortunately also eliminates the integrated depth filter of the previous cartridges. There are now only a small permanent sieve. I assume that now the old accumulated hair residues are increasingly pumped through the shaver => less beautiful.
The duration of the display screen is a bit too short for me personally.
The travel case made of artificial leather looks very cheap and ugly. Since the Hardcases von Braun have much better like me.

Small personal note:
I clean the shaver every day with the cleaning station. I do not understand why others want to save here.
Very clear to me triumphs of comfort / time win over the greed-is-cool mentality.
Ledigich when I'm about to travel, the cleaning station stays at home. Here at least was the predecessor LA93
the ultrasonic cleaning with liquid soap under running water followed by oils works just fine (I'm still testing, when the time comes).
That of others, the cleaning / drying time is criticized as too long, I can not understand personally.
I had never felt the need to shave again within the next 2 hours. If it should go to the fan noise, I understand this is not really, because I perceive it in this model as unobtrusive silent. Otherwise perhaps hift my tip from above with the Spiegelschränkchen (if any).

As soon as the availability situation of the cleaning fluid becomes normal, I can the Panasonic ES-LV95 Recommend unreservedly.

ADDENDUM (from 2.1.2014):
So, in the meantime, I have tested the hitherto outstanding things.
1. The shaver can also be just as good as my predecessor (LA-93) without the cleaning station with running water clean with the aid of liquid soap. (Subsequent oils do not forget - sufficient oil is already included).
So, this is a great solution for the short trip.
2. the first substitution of the cleaning fluid due (red status LED) After exactly 1 month. A nice feature yoy. the old cleaning station is now about 1 week before the change of date, the preliminary information by the Empty LED. So you have possibly had time to get new cleaning concentrate.
The cleaning liquid container and the use of sieve can be easily cleaned with warm water and a little detergent:
You come with your fingers for wiping / rubbing down well everywhere because dismantled and then open.
The cleaning station itself can also now be better yoy. Clean the old version. Instead of individual slats in the support area of the shaving foils the entire cleaning "pool" of a piece of rubber is now produced:
There are now no covered bodies underneath the disks more, which would have to be additionally wiped. In addition, the blades can not even move or tear at even carelessness.
3. When filling the old Reinigungsflüssigleitsrestes has shown that my earlier expressed fear was unfounded, the beard residues would increasingly pumped through the shaver head for lack of depth filter. The bottom plate of the insert holds most of the share. The possibly remaining is then retained by the sieve with no problems.

Finally, but again a few words to the detergent concentrate:
The concentrate is to get now without any problems.
However annoys me the price that is called for this purpose.
Are delivered only 3 foil bags similar to the cosmetic samples in magazines, each with 15 ml content in a small cardboard box.
Be required for this purpose around 12 euros (in razor shop depending on your bargaining skills even 20 to 24 euros).
An extrapolation gives a liter price of good 265 euros, which I think is totally overpriced.
If we add even the packaging costs, a, half the price of 2 euros per sachet would certainly throw off still plenty of profit for the manufacturer and supplier. To keep the cost of the "trappings" low, reacting a year's supply package with 12 bags could offer to a total of 25 euros yes eg.
This Geschäftgebahren is unfortunately already known by the replacement inks for printers. Only there is the printer subsidized advance by lower selling prices. This is likely in this shaver, for I have paid around 290 euros, hardly be the case.
My research on the internet to alternative cleaning fluids was unfortunately not very encouraging. There were always buyers who reported massive problems with the alternatives.
For the sake of justice, I would like to mention that this situation with the other razor manufacturers is nearly equal.
Finally:
But the comfort of the cleaning station I do not dispense and pay grudgingly the high price of the original-cleaning concentrate.
However, I allow myself to be deducted for this annoyance 1 star in my overall rating.

Now the metal coating of the razor slowly dissolves (just as it did when Braun razor) from.
But since this is only a blemish that does not impair the function, at least at the present time, I stand by my original overall grade with 4 stars.
