In the brightness is roughly equivalent to the 50 watt halogen lamps. The beam is in my opinion more than the halogen lamps, also with uniform light distribution. As a slight disadvantage I feel the light color, which is more than pure white warm white for me. But it is better to classes, as the blue color of the original LED's or the arg yellow toned usual "warm white" LED's. A bit annoying, I also think that the lamp is light blinding by their high brightness. Hence the star deduction.
Amazingly, I find two things:
1. The lamp is considerably higher than lukewarm as an estimated 60 degrees, so it is not much colder than the halogen lamp. I therefore doubt the specified power consumption of only 3 watts.
2. The lamp can be dimmed it to half brightness against the product statement thoroughly.
To what extent the high operating temperature and the dimming operation have an impact on the life, I can not judge at this stage, of course.
All in all, surpasses them in lamp brightness and light color all been tested by me LEDs. If even the true life, the lamp is more than worth its price.
Unfortunately, the fear has come true and the light given up the ghost after not even 3 months of operation. Therefore, I have reduced my rating to the minimum possible 1 star.
