Amazingly simple and fast under construction

I chose the mower Wolf, because he has a function to cut the lawn edge. My lawn has approximately 320sqm area, bordered with a lawn edge of 10cm stones and directly afterwards a Borde from 10cm height to keep the bark separately even in windy conditions the lawn, see fig. Although the wolf-mower Robomow comes, I took the charge in purchasing. For me, the arguments of spare part availability, direct contact and product loyalty were important. Also I trust the wolf-men, that they have consciously chosen Robomow before they joined their logo and the good name it. So far, a good decision, I think.

After much deliberation, many compare up to study the various manuals (can be downloaded) so I have ordered the mower here. The delivery was again very quickly and completely. I really liked that plenty of boundary wire and pegs were there, even cable connector as a reserve, if the cable müssste be times extended or repaired.

I then read on several evenings the 48 pages instructions carefully. Although the actual installation was very simple, it was worth it: for example, the setting of the code for the protection against theft just one of many additional options within a list.

While the mower has charged the battery, I have the cable first secured only with a few lawn nails about every 3-4m a nail with a distance of about 28cm from the outer edge of the lawn curbs. In the left-hand corners I initially planned a chamfer of about 20cm, as described in the manual. After only 30 minutes, the first round was through. Even if the battery was not full, I have the mower set just once on the lawn and turned on. I had to correct only 1x, to the mower easily moved off its charging station. So was the next one test for edge cutting function off: for the tests there is a special mode where the mower leaves the way without cutting deck. At only 2-3 places I had to put some nails. It worked then already at the 2nd pass without further need to change anything.
So I sent the mower in the station so that the battery is fully charged, to adjust the value later. After some time I have seen time outside - and the thing was on my way! After charging the battery, the mower has independently used and losgelegt the standard. So when I came out, the mower cut the edge and had already dug above the rest. Good thing was that I had initially asked the cutting height to maximum. So it was not a problem that the boundary wire was not provided with all lawn nails. What can I say - even with the still unchanged standard functions and the only test as laid cables everything worked very well. There are in the left-hand corners still small uncut piece, but since I came to the small hand mower tuned never. Otherwise, the mower has with its chaotic Mahsystem mowed everything, I think. Accurate I'll see if I make the mowing height down and the grass in the next phase of growth comes. When in doubt, there is an option in the settings to increase the coverage.

The mower therefore a complete program of a cycle has completed. Within a cycle, the mower moves repeatedly back to the charging station, the edge is cut only in the first use of the cycle. The battery will last approximately 1 hour each application followed by about 1-2 hours charging (I have not stopped the times is therefore only estimated). The mower was with me 4 or 5 times "out" until we went into the night's rest at 23 clock. At this time the mower was on my way and has first issued the deck before he went back to the charging station. Even when the mower is very (very!) Is silent is it outside at night so quiet, that the low frequency sounds even with closed doors and windows inside still can perceive (I live very well and I also sharp hearing). I'm going to change the default setting of 6:00 to 23:00 at 7.00-22.00 clock. Sunday is a rest day eh preset.

Also I am still experimenting how I can place the charging station outside the lawn. According to manual you can put this station into a lawn area outside. Let's see where the limits are so. Also I will change the "Cable closely follow" option to yet to exhaust the last centimeter on the edge without the mower strikes.

A star deduction for the fact that the mower inside a "cycle" is almost the go all day to mow the lawn. Now I know why the duration of the charging time is as important when choosing the mower. Even with previous reading of various user manuals I was unaware of this. In retrospect, it is also logical that in chaotic Mähweise each body must be run over several times to be sure that the mower was everywhere. The competitors product from Bosch was my other favorite: the not mow after pattern but at the lawn edge the function I need in my situation curbs. Here you would have needed a Robotic newbie little more information, I think ... or should be considered when planning the lawn edge a Lawn Mower.
