The album comes from the sixties as Streisand lived in shared flats and every evening at the Bon Soir nightclub with a small big band American Chansons (The French can wrap!) Was performing. Vocally expressive interprets each song like a stage play. This change quieter pieces ("When the Sun Comes Out") with more powerful ("Any Place I Hang My Hat is Home"). Especially the latter will no longer get out of your ear when you have to stumble over other versions (Did not even Udo Lindenberg be times dared it?). Interestingly on the CD are especially "Down With Love", "Gotta Move" and "I do not care much" that not the usual He-loves-me-he-loves-me-not-repeat lard, but rather the Mir-but-no matter-look-to-dasde Country winning attitude. For the daily A bit pathos highly recommended (5 billion stars)!
