Ampermeter very inaccurate in the single digits

The voltmeter is very accurate and for me the most important thing. However, the ammeter is for my needs (0 - 10 amps) very inaccurate. It shows in the first place as from 0.8 amps, but in fact already flowing then double the current. The more amps flowing, the more accurate is the display. I suppose I should better take the 10A variant. So I hope this helps other on.
