The Canon PowerShot SX50 HS is the absolute positive madness!
I always make the effort, complete print out the manuals, and one page (with the camera in hand) to read, try, and compact to write down the most important features on blank paper. Only in this way we learn all the options and hidden features, so even with the Canon PowerShot SX50 HS. After 14 days and 15 pages handwritten manual Summary I created about 500 very amazing test photos and videos. All in all, great results, the photo quality, the handiness, the speed, the myriad ways that results in low light (have limited to ISO 640), programs such as selective color, color exchange, HDR, fisheye, etc., etc. etc.
Besides an assignable speed dial the 5 most frequently used menu items of the recording menu in its own menu "My Menu" can be converted and then can even be determined whether this menu opens the standard menu, wow! At dial up two Custom Modes 1.2 are also verifiable. The display can be opened, swiveled and rotated, as such collapsed that the display is protected.
The flash of the menu call is also done via a statically assigned key. Another key to the housing of the extremely fast lens helps "lost object" in the viewfinder / display (at long focal lengths) to zoom out, then aim at the subject again by frame, then release the button => lens will zoom back to previous telephoto! Genial! One could write entire novels after 14 days here. I kept the camera, it is the finest piece of technology that I have long had in his hand. Absolute buy recommendation!
The only drawback:
Missing panoramic function! (Yes, it's even?) Others can do much better, whether by pivoted movies, or 120 degrees / 180 degrees or more directly gestitchte in the camera shots. The Canon has only one stitch Wizard, but adds the images are not together in the camera. Very Stone Age and incomprehensible. The Fuji can damn better!
