Sonically an absolute dream

Before I into greater detail about the Fidelio L2, I want to advance to remark that reviews are mixed into two different models here on Amazon. Especially is this the "Fidelio L1" and "L2 Fidelio". I think this is important, therefore, because the two headphones to sound distinctly different. During the review I will try to describe the differences. Like all lovers of good sound know not always easy and certainly a very subjective story.

Philips Fidelio L1 ended with a surprise success and the headset has been praised in tests, but also criticized in many forums because of the sound. Enthusiasm and disappointment gave the balance and also my personal impression that reflects.
The L1 scores with a great processing of leather and aluminum, is very light and comfortable to wear. The cable must be replaced easily interchangeable and, unfortunately, the cushions are not interchangeable.
The sound of the L1 I feel as warm with a rich bass emphasis. After initial enthusiasm, but at that time I realized that my headphones a little too "cozy" sounds. In pop or electronic music it feels fit as a fiddle and is really fun. In classical music, but it lacks the details, the sound becomes clouded and my ears missing here precision, even vocals or guitar for example are affected. Despite all that, I have kept the phone and there are days when I want to hear exactly this cozy and warm style of play that sets the L1 to light. Processing, design, comfort:

In my head the headset sits not very tight, especially when I compare it with other models, but sufficiently firm. The ear cushions are relatively hard, which I personally find more pleasant than soft furnishing.

The Sound:

I own several high-quality headphones (Sennheiser Momentum, V-Moda M100, Fidelio X1, Sennheiser HD 598, Denon AH-D600, etc.) and no one comes in matters details and neutrality to the L2 zoom.
