Canon SELPHY CP900 compact photo printer (6.8 cm (2.7 inch) LCD screen, 300x300 dpi, WLAN, USB) Black (Personal Computers)

Customer Review

For quality, cost, technical backgrounds etc. was already written enough. I rate a difference (I do like to ;-)): A return to photos that you have in your hands!

My motivation for the investment in the device was this: Constantly does one snapshot with your phone, and then go stale exactly. Nothing more to show me around, hang on the refrigerator or on the wall. Perhaps kloppt even a picture on Facebook, or emailed one or two around. But if the computer is off, and put away the cell phone, then the walls are pale and empty. Previously, the full Polaroids or unprocessed prints from negative film, you got the same development. If today times have photos on paper, then are processed, large format, from the expensive printer or from exposure service. With as what was missing ... I just wanted to go back the snapshots of the day by phone as "trigger".

And because the printer works perfectly! Paper pure, pure ink, anschmeissen device from the WLAN. On the smartphone (Galaxy S4 in my case) the software from Canon installed. Started looking for printers, he was already - Photo chosen from the pressure! Nothing worked, out like a Polaroid just :-)! Feels like a minute later I had the first photo in hand. As a deduction in the 90s, a little sharper, a little stronger, reminded me of a good Kodak film. DC three photos rausgehauen (Maker Faire in Hannover, Queen Mary in Hamburg, something just, snapshots with the phone!). The bent folded seam at the photos and the supernatant canceled (just go :-)), and the pictures hung with magnets on the refrigerator.

An hour later brought a beer, and seen the photos - memories of great days! And just reingelächelt only in me. I find it just beautiful, what the printer (occurs to me just not schlaueres word ;-)) to a simple "quality of life" returns. And he may well! I like this also (and especially) the limitation to a fixed format - just as they used Polaroid. Limitation nothing must be bad indeed ...

I'm looking forward to sitting with friends here in the cozy lap, and to give all WLAN access, and to install the app - and if one makes a nice snapshot, then off to the Selphy! The photos then to the fridge. Since then even if I am the morning it the empty glasses and bottles wegräume, and the smoke out air.

Newly modern Polaroid Machine!
