The CD is the very nice, but not very catchy title "How about I be me (and You Be You)?".
It starts with the number "4th and Vine". A great, catchy beat and a downright cheerful lively atmosphere distinguish this song. Something that you're not necessarily used by Sinead O'Connor.
The next title is "Reason with me". Here I particularly like the piano theme. But the text is just beautiful, it is worth just to listen, and maybe grab time to the dictionary, if the English is a little rusty! This is true for all the songs on this CD übrigends!
Rarely have I heard a CD, which I really like every song! In "How about I be me (and You Be You)?"
is finally back of the case.
One of my favorites on this CD is quite clear "the Wolf is Getting Married"! (Somehow I must always think of Little Red Riding Hood, also do not know why ... ;-)) class song.
What stands out is that the mood this CD rather quiet, relaxed. The "angry young woman", as many have Sinead O'`Connor still in mind, you will not find on this CD. (Apart from the fact that it is already 45.)
Only when the brilliant "Queen of Denmark" briefly flashes on the rebellious, angry potential of this unique voice.
A pearl is also "I had a baby."
"VIP" is a razor-sharp look behind the "Star-mechanisms" in the music industry, the Sinead O'Connor from personal experience yes knows only too well. Rare criticism was wrapped so beautifully at the media circus!
I can only salute, in this amazing, fascinating artist who shows us with this great album finally back to what it is capable !!!
My conclusion: not to be missed !!!
Who wants to experience these songs live: Sinead O'Connor enters übrigends next month as part of their tour also three times in Germany!
