An absolute must for every Andreas Gabalier-fan

This DVD excited right from the first minute. It rocks, it stomps, but it is also thought and muses. Andreas Gabalier is authentic and convinced by his Austrian charm and down-home style. He has managed that one may gutfinden than 28-year-old 'folk music'. With his songs he presents a healthy mix of tradition and modernity, always combined with a slight twinkle in his eye and the sympathetic property to take care of yourself is not always 100% seriously. The DVD convinced by a long playing time (the MDR had for TV-transmission loads of cut) and about 45 minutes of bonus material, the Premium Edition for only 2 more even with the complete concert on two audio CDs (perfect for the car) , The packaging is extremely high (with relief printing) and stable, although they 'only' is made of cardboard. The booklet holds some information ready and the visual design makes the mood for watching. By FSK 0-release the DVD can be viewed perfectly with the young. If I had to express negative criticisms, I would have liked a little more bonus material (eg. As more fan questions or interviews) and perhaps a booklet with (a selection of) texts. These two points are but by no means worth a star deduction, therefore: thumbs up and full marks for a Volksrock'n'Roller whose career will hopefully continue for long.
