A wonderful slide show function is also installed in the player, one feels quickly transported back to the time of the slide show evenings. Only today lacks the annoying and partly loud fan noise of the projector. In this day and age you can of course still be accompany his musical slideshow with your own MP3 songs, very very nice.
Unfortunately, the player has only one, in the Frontpatie the device embedded USB interface. The C-Series had also another on the back. This shortcoming but I have managed with an active USB Hub from the world. So I have to connect a USB hard drive and enough power connectors also when needed. I can also now the dongle for Logitech can be plugged K400 keyboard and can conveniently operate the player with it. Otherwise, I did not even need to bring the new device closer, because the codes have remained seemingly identical and I therefore can use the new H-Series so my Logitech Harmony remote.
The browser is very nicely done, is going well, but certainly Werder the PC, even replace the Tablet. These devices are already "liquid" in the display and the screen layout. The BD-H 6500 gets its Internet via a network cable, so it is connected quite quickly and permanently to the network, which I have not yet tried out WiFi option. But is also nice, missed programs part time to view fast on the sender's own media libraries themselves.
Well, I would not hesitate to re-acquire the player for me, all around (to my mind) a good product. The often mentioned loud drive noise I can not confirm at my model definitely. I put a DVD or Bluray disc in the drive, so you can hear slightly clattering "noises access". Once the menus are loaded and the movie is playing, but is now also already concluded. I have of course not yet tried all the "wheels" with the player, if not one or the other disc has a slightly unbalanced and the player who stands with me in a closet, but still easy "drive unbalanced grinding noises" elicits ....?
At the moment a very successful upgrade my hitherto very reliable C-Series.
I at least have my BD-H6500 at the moment a lot of fun and experience always new little things, for which the device is capable of. Ok, I have not yet read the instructions ... was not necessary, the device is very "customer friendly" .So popped on my Tablet with Android 4.1 before playing a media file on a window with a query with which I could agree whether the video should be played on the BD-H6500 ... I found nice, confirms selection, .... and already the plasma showed my video.
So I'm going to have to read the manual it out, so I can call such features even in its name.
