This Super Black Market Clash has very little to do with the small vinyl in 1980 in charge of filling gaps in the discography of US CLASH. With this cd release, we have downright retrospective of B-sides of singles released from 1977 to 1982. So, the perfect complement to The Clash-compilation The Singles. The career of CLASH by its B-sides. And despite that, Super Black Market deserves its 5 stars.
The CLASH is good, very good. In short, you take the best bits of LIBERTINES (yet good too) and compare with the titles released in the CLASH B side singles between 1977 and 79 and are los tres caballeros Strummer-Jones, Simonon who are doing high hand with candor, freshness and bite. Our rock fighters were favorites of their time and opened doors and place red carpet for the future of pop. Everyone on the pop-rock scene 90-00 years owes something to CLASH. Hold! Take even the French which operates under the name of St Germain and do not tell me he did not listen to loop the instrumental version of MAGNIFICENT SEVEN present here. Anything goes: power pop, r'n'b blues, dub, dance pieces for disco ... All with natural and free. Also essential that original albums of the band!
