An easy-to-use editing program

Since 2008 I have been working with Corel Video Studio 12 and am not unhappy despite numerous crashes the program. Now I downloaded the trial version of X5, a whopping 1.3 GB are landed on my machine. Here is asked also about a registry.

Compared to Studio 12, there are few changes, such as an image stabilizer, more output formats when rendering. However, the processing of the clip, the preview has become noticeably faster liquid. AVCHD is running, as with almost all editing programs (on most normal computers) course here is not smooth, a cut editing is thus impossible. So activate the Proxy Manager and wait, have been generated to smaller clips, with which one then but can work quite smoothly. Even multiple video tracks, audio tracks are possible without jerky. Other HD formats (eg 720p in mpg4 or avi) running on my household Average computer (Intel Core, 2Duo, 1.4GHz, 1GB DDR2) with Corel X5 also not liquid. With Magix Video Deluxe 2013, incidentally, also not, I tried it. Crashed X5 with me until now not yet.
I like this program because of its simple, almost spartan interface, in other programs too many mouse and keyboard I often need to quickly make a difference. The clips fit together automatically, you do not constantly change as the Magix Ripple functions to work fluently. There are now (finally!) More audio tracks, a commentary track and 3 audio tracks. So you can Atmos and sounds, original and simply comment process better. The color and sound are a bit out of date, just the tone I would have liked better equipment, similar to Magix. There is no equalizer or the like, but only a few usually tools to improve the sound. Here they wanted to the opportunity Cutter probably meet and this simple tool has been devised.
DVDs with menu can be relatively easy to create, is at the Magix (I think) only with additional programs.

I will not purchase this program because it on my netbook (which I need professional) is not running! With Magix, the user interface of the screen resolution of my netbook adjusts and then also run quite fluid, at Corel is only an error message, the screen resolution should be corrected, which is not possible with the netbook. Corel X5 then does not start on my Asus netbook.

Corel X5 is ideal for entry as an editor because of its simple interface. Other equally expensive programs offer a lot more, but they are also characterized komplizierter- with Corel VS 12 I come, even after a long pause, always quickly master, Magix I have to if I did not work a long time so, again a incorporate new little before I can smoothly and quickly cut.

For demanding amateurs and professionals, this program is not intended. But who wants to make better holiday movies, small business presentations, wedding videos, professional documentation and the like, with X5 is all possible without any problems. It can be so cut with Corel X5 professional-looking movies because the cutter makes the movie, not the program!
