Diablo is a very interesting good game. It's not really a pure RPG - at least if one compares it with the cult icons of the role play, like "Dungeons and Dragons", "Might & Magic", or "Ultima". Compared to standard RPGs, but Diablo is knitted very basic and simple, perhaps because also quite attractive, because it plays similar straightforward like an adventure, and is therefore also recommended for people who can not have too much to do with pure RPGs. The - known from several RPGs - sometimes lengthy classify levels, compare and contrast of character / monster values ​​such as "strength", "agility", or "Mana" is, thanks to a certain part of "real-time-based" failed struggles little complex , and admits that you yourself deal quickly finds a newcomer without biting first flip through countless tutorials. The addiction to the "high levels" of character, a so packed all - regardless of whether you rather tend to adventure, or RPG genre.
The graphics are purely 2D, but this very endeavor designed, sophisticated very loving, and beautiful to look at today. The background music is very pleasant and full of atmosphere. Diablo is all around a jewel among PC games.
