Unfortunately I have to connect on-reviewers me my. Was the first disc of the Avalon project "The Land of New Hope" still a quite good album and worth seeing competition for "Avantasia" with which to ex-Stratovarius mastermind Tolkki returns filed out of the woodwork, so is the second disc " Angels of the Apocalypse "an absolute Hangover came out. The drums sound blurry and dull, the guitar sounds blurred somewhere between the keyboard and orchestral interludes and vocal performances sound like on a demo tape a garage band that comes together for the first time. The guest vocalists appear herunterzunudeln all their parts listless, especially particularly David DeFeis tortures by his song "Rise of the 4th Reich". Also Amaranthe frontwoman Elize Ryd, the "In My Memory Enshrined" and "I'll Sing You Home" handed in some great songs on the first disc with, seems here completely out of place. The only songs that I can recommend to people who despite all the many negative reviews get the album, the songs are "Jerusalem Is Falling" and "Stargate Atlantis". These songs are the only ones who are not total failure in my eyes. I think it's time for Tolkki to retire. His best years are over, at least since his departure from Stratovarius. The two stars are for the two recommended by my songs and made really great artwork.
