An ingenious and colorful world of entertainment

Basically, I'm not a fan of business simulations, my main interest is the adventure genre. But I did it once installed and angetestet for fun on my hard drive. And after a short training period in the rather intuitive control, the absolute amusement park fever has grabbed me. I have never seen a better spiritual successor to the good old game "Theme Park", not even "Theme Park World" can match that! Meanwhile, I have the game itself, including both expansions "Soaked!" (German for "wet", with the main focus of pools and water rides) and "Wild!" (In which one animal parks - can build - eg à la Jurassic Park) purchased and am completely thrilled!

The plethora of exciting and lovingly animated attractions, as already mentioned very user-friendly operation and even the end of 2006 still absolutely excellent graphics are emphasized strengths of the game. Time relaxing times rocking music accompany the construction mode as soon as one zooms, and otherwise governed adjustable for each attraction very good music. But the absolute highlight is the fact that you can, in other words can "enter" in almost every attraction itself "drive" from the first-person perspective with her - often one has the feeling to actually experience the private park close. And at any time in the game you can adjust the 3D view as you want. Even more than in the good old "Theme Park" has been given a lot of effort with the behaviors, thoughts and animations of the park visitors. So people do not just run only through the park, buy things and go with everything, but obviously enjoy their lives, kissing, watching the fellows who take children by the hand and laugh, cry, play. It is not only fun to build the park - you just like to look also for hours afterwards the world go by.

The only (admittedly fairly irrelevant) gripe is that the time goes by very quickly in normal mode: sometimes you climb virtually the morning in a roller coaster and finished the ride at midnight. Well.
In addition, sometimes you have problems after you have changed the terrain. To me it is often already happens, for example, that I have designed a pretty hilly landscape at the mine roller coaster could stand without any problems, but I had then no opportunity to place the input house train somewhere, so I probably or web evil had to demolish again. But even this is not seriously intended blemish of the game, because you yes this has in their own hands and you must not forcibly "playing God" and alter the landscape.

Conclusion: a wonderful pastime - definitely 5 star for the entertainment value and another 5 points for the overall assessment. I give an unqualified recommendation to buy! This complete package of "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" deserves a place of honor in every good games.
