The opportunity to train and to fight this monster is certainly not new, nor is the story about a boy who set out to save the world. Pack up all this to accommodate with a nice graphics in a colorful and vibrant world and to make the boy a little gnome with a lantern piercing in the nose to the side makes the package then again more interesting.
The untold story is cute, the gameplay catchy, but not undemanding and the mini tasks to do in the meantime, even the larger players require some from of concentration. It actually has this game needed to show me that my thumb / Thumb coordination not as fine tuned as I had previously always assumed ...
I would like to highlight also the soundtrack of the game. The music is one of the favorite companion on my journey and has an outstanding ability to deepen the atmosphere and draw the player deeper into the action.
So why "only" four stars? The graphics are great, the music still great, and the overall impression very positive, but a few small drawbacks I have (for me personally) but then make.
So epic is the story and the journey seems so exciting, so improbable seem to me the decisions that meet the characters at times. I do not very well understood that it is precisely in Japanese manga (and this is the game definitely ajar) more than usual, is already 11, 12 years to save the world, and the like, but Oliver is still a lot younger and looks also like this. Compete with six such travel, speak in such a way and make decisions? That seems a bit dodgy and is the main reason for a star deduction. (Sometimes questionable for me the English translation synchronization also plays with pure; these are, as I said, purely personal reasons.)
Nevertheless, the game is a rewarding pastime, if you're open to living, lovingly designed worlds in Cell Shade optics. And who cares this chart, simply close your eyes and enjoy the great soundtrack.
