The Herplatte makes a relatively robust impression (still not used for discus throwing).
Nice that there is this product. The extra cost compared to larger and (only slightly) cheaper competitors from the Far East, in my opinion cents for cent justified (no, I have neither stocks nor friends or relatives when Rommelsbacher), if you need anything or want to enlarge!
