In a pleasant and clear style, inspired novel tells with great realism - and a touch of nostalgia - the end of an era: that of the wild wild west! As worn on the 4th cover: if one has to read a Western, it's this one! Reading MA discovery of the year. The work is more consistent: over 1,000 pages in 2 volumes ... we regret to finish too quickly though. I discovered after reading a high quality adaptation was made for television: very faithful to the novel, it plunges happily in this beautiful history as one knows how to inspire in america.
