DAfter the dictionary, is an integral complete editing of LOEUVRE artist dun; re-integral does not seem to be an accepted term. Quoiquil be, the other full hunting. The first full CD (When that love is A) published in 1988 was the compact BE merit; 10 CD overflowing with previously unreleased. The second wheel 2003, with 16 CDs in a round, wide box candy wasnt the easiest to jam in the disco (flat? Up?). To encourage the purchase of this cumbersome object that it contains the bonus CD with 26 songs sung by a young Brel for Belgian radio in August 1953, was the only one not to go out separately. Here, the third integral of Jacques Brel (21 CDs) ... First of we discover a beautiful box. A sort of book, 33tr format, with thick pages which are extracted (sometimes laboriously, at the risk of damaging them) CDs. It also contains a 60-page booklet, illustrated with very good pictures of Brel. At surcharge, a pouch containing reproductions of the drafts Candy, My Childhood, La Chanson Des Vieux Amants, and copies of license and pilot. If this new CD has 21 full, this is apparently the result of reflections at the record distribution. Indeed, while CD can contain quun juqua 1:19, three are around 36 minutes, the disc 15 by 1829 and only just four découte exceed one hour. We are far from compact side of the first integral. All the more that the timing can be in the excuse if any, is not strictly observed puisquelle Completion 25cm 1965. Sound 24/96: a motivation to get this third full. Indeed, many titles are rejuvenated. That said, in many cases, the high frequencies are much clearer but at the expense of low (but perhaps is it a déquipement question). Truly new - Recital: CD 15 in public for Three Donkeys, 1957 (7 songs) CD 21 in public in Roubaix (last recital) 1967 (15 songs) The short but tasty recital at Three Donkeys allows dentendre Brel we finally face the public early in his career. The sound is excellent! In Roubaix, Brel tries dinterpreter differently sometimes those songs that he sang so much on stage, but without conviction. Recordings "unpublished" studio. 11 alternative versions: When you have that love, I do not know, Litany for a return. Marieke, Living standing monkeys, these people the La la la, do not leave me (x3). More a "Brussels" version of Quest (repeat?). "News": The golden fleece (very good sound quality), Doctor (story, apparently recorded on lile judging by the cries of birds). We should also mention three resignations TV titles: Place de la Contrescarpe, this little path, Look very small, previously released on DVD. Note that bit of effort has been made to improve the sound of the first two. The major problem of this integral is the lack dinformation used on recordings. The 60-page booklet is merely cite dentretiens fragments with Brel, but the information compiled on securities (release date, original support) are sorely lacking. For example, the second versions (45tr) the Air Of Stupidity and I Do not Know and the 1st version (25cm) of the Lady Patroness are presented as "unpublished". The CD 14, entitled 'entire 1953 radio recordings "actually contains 26 songs recorded for the BRT Hasselt in August 1953 by originally against the track 27 (If you came back) is not specified (1953?); on the last track, Hangman, it is clear what has nothing to do there, he fact that that this is a public show's up recording for "Domino Club" of Dutch television (AVRO) April 15, 1963. Now to the little missing from this "integral" a 1962 45tr: The Bigotes (version 1) When Mom Reviendra (version 1) The Girls And The Dogs (version 2) The chitchat (version 2). But above all, the wonderful version of Ne me quitte contained in the dual 30cm "Brel Is Alive And Well and Living In Paris" released in 1974. But regarding the latter capacity, perhaps this is a rights issue .. . 5 missing securities, it is little compared to previous "full". One last point: the back of the leaflet supposed cabinet give appercu its content. Beware, it is playing with words when it simply does not lie. I quote: "5 unreleased tracks on CD" including Jean De Bruges (1963) "3 concerts Unreleased" which lOlympia A Farewell (1966) Jean De Bruges was already out in the double CD "Francois Rauber Suites dOrchestre" April 15, 2013 and 1966 lOlympia had long been available on DVD. About Jean De Bruges, note that following a mastering error, a short passage is repeated (end of track 15 Whale and new start track 16 The Mermaid) in this integral, so that the defect was not present in the CD Francois Rauber (lanes 1 and 2). In conclusion, very little domissions in this new edition. If you are not too picky regarding the chronology and whether the absence dinfo about the origins of the songs do not mind, this package is for you!
