As an accessory, a combined charging / data cable, a Hanbuch be mitgelierfert (on a mini-CD) and standard headphones.
The Desire X acts (almost identical to the iPhone 4, only 4mm wider width and height) and easy to unpack for a 4in smartphone very petite.
The feel like it quite well, even if everything is up to the frame (aluminum) plastic, the phone does not make cheap impression. The SIM card (normal size, no micro or nano-Sim) can be pushed without the battery to remove (the same applies to the Micro-SD card). It is striking that the battery cover is very easy to solve (but not remember that he involuntarily triggers) and is quite flexible.
The display shows already at power first, that it is pleasantly light strong and you have to worry about the readability even in sunlight not too worried. Can turn on after you step by step to set up all his accounts (Google, Facebook, email, etc.). Then there is the possibility the contact information of his old mobile phone via Bluetooth to transmit (including contact photos). The Home screen already includes a weather widget and a link to the Google Play Store (AndroidMarket).
The operation runs very smoothly, there are so far no stuttering feel. Typing with the keyboard (both transversely and vertically) is very easy.
The performance seems to be secured for the future thanks to 1GHz dual-core, only the 768MB Ram could later times when multitasking is a problem Being now not yet.
A small point of criticism is the low internal memory: 1GB represents apps (thanks App2sd / install various apps on an SD card) should be possible, but this. More 1GB available for pictures / videos. A change in this division is not known to me.
The use of a micro SD card is thus unablässlich.
The camera (5 megapixels) makes very good paintings- at least absolutely snapshot compatible (including LED flash). The videos are also fine, but the resolution for videos not even 720p (ie no HD Aflösung). Bothers me though little, because I turn hardly videos with the phone, but should be mentioned.
A front camera for video calling is missing!
I use my smartphone much to make phone calls, so I put on the voice quality great value. In my previous interviews I have heard no noise or the like and also my interlocutors have understood me very well. The volume of the handset is rather durchschnittlich- my Xperia Mini Pro was here loud, but should still be sufficient in everyday life.
The reception quality is subjectively described as good and also the loading of various online services running noticeably faster than vonstatten at my previous smartphone.
I can not say much because I have the phone for only a few days on the battery life. My impression so far is that the mobile phone creates even with heavy use of significantly more than one working day. The capacity of the battery is rated at 1650mAh at least tidy.
As soon as I can this be more specific I'll publish it here an update on this topic.
Conclusion:
The Desire X is quite compact and lightweight smartphone with solid acute arterial technique. The workmanship is very good for this price range, only little things like the low video resolution, or little internal storage cloud the picture somewhat. Who but an actual smartphone searches for a fair price, which had recommended the Desire X.
-------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------- -------------------- Update 1 -------------------------------------------
After a few days with the phone I want to provide a first update.
The Battery disappointed me something- at least I would have expected more in 1650mAh:
With intensive use (1Std30min surf, 1h30 calls, about 10 messages and 5 manual email retrieval; synchronization largely from data network consistently activated) the battery has held for 15 hours.
(Surf 1hr, 30min calls, messages 10 and about 5 e-mail calls) with lower usage, the battery kept 24 hours (at night was the data network for 9 hrs disabled.).
I think based on these values and the personal user profile can each decide for yourself whether or not the battery lasts one or not.
I would indeed have hoped for more, but can still live well with the values.
The mobile phone is still running very fast, in spite of some installed apps and regular multitasking. In particular, the rapid call of online content to me falls (compared to the Xperia Mini Pro).
-------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------- -------------------- Update 2 -------------------------------------------
I use the phone now a day for 6 weeks. In advertising, the mobile phone from various providers (T-Mobile, Base) is advertised as "sensational sound". Here it is clear to say that the sound in spite of Beats Audio headphones can be described as moderate to insufficient since a constant noise can be heard during playback of MP3s. A change of headphones has managed not help me (and these headphones noise with other players / phones do not). While you can listen to music and the sound itself is powerful, but the noise in the background decreases the listening pleasure but significantly.
Otherwise, I'm still happy with the phone. The pace is good, the quality appears to be very solid (despite the lack of cover and a few small falls out of bed) no scratches (neither on the case nor on the display).
