Well well, so here we have the 1994 Foreigner album from which everyone says it is mediocre, patchy, dull and not a good comeback work. The people was right, the album can actually mE unable to match the old days like "Agent Provocateur". But should it ever? I think you have the album listen / look from another point of view. The band was in a difficult situation, Lou Gramm noticed the first signs of his brain tumor and Foreigners tribe Genre Adult Oriented rock was dying out. So what do if the base of the band is missing? Make the most of it, the boys and ran tern thought from "Mr. Moonlight". The single "White Lie" can convince fully. A lively and catchy rock-pop song like from the old days. For me, even one of the best songs the band ever. The ballad "Until the End of Time" and "Running the Risk" can also convince, even if they are not perfect. The Rocker "All I Need to Know" and "Under the Gun" is also managed. The last track has a very good text, which sounds very much like Agent Provocatuer times when all previous texts were okay though, but relatively inconsequential. And here lies the problem of the entire album: A vast irrelevance. The sound is consistently the same, slightly jazzy, with rock elements, but wide webs proceeding without enthusiasm and without innovation. Many tracks are not really good, but almost boring, and you know otherwise not of Foreigner! Therefore, and due to the magnificent "White Lie" still love intentioned 3 stars.
