If it's all about weights, you can do little wrong, for training the appearance hardly matters. However, I like watching the rubber coating particularly well, the weights do not scratch the floor and have a nice matte black finish. Who gladly trained with beautifully processed devices or lying around his dumbbells in the apartment, would be determined on sports matters that are not definitely ugly. Good material also motivates better for training.
The barbell is long enough that you can, rod and clamp screws are neatly chromed on each side four weights mounted. I would recommend first to order a set and if you like even a second, with two sets at once breaks the parcels together :). 30 kilos on one hand are for beginners clearly too much, which would have pleased the fully stocked part to ever raise above the head - the different discs but can be any desired weight between 2.5 kg (empty bar) and 30 kilos in 2.5 kilo increments equip. From 12.5 kilos you need the big 5kg washers.
Even if 30 kilos first still are too heavy, it motivates to train even more to finally be able to charge the remaining weight discs. Weights unused fit eg on 30 / 31mm-barbells, good discs you never have enough ... so that the discs do not soon look scruffy, you should prefer the barbell on carpet or a mat leave than on rough concrete, they attract dust and adapt poorly to dirty floors.
For me clear the bar with the best-looking weight plates that I've tasted.
