An SD card slot and micro SD USB 3.0

The card reader looks just like a big USB drive (7,7x2,8x1,8 cm and weighs 20 grams). It seems lightweight hand over its dimensions. The USB 3.0 port is protected by a cap that holds in place. There is also a small location if you want to put a lanyard (not supplied).

The key is automatically detected on Windows 8.1 so it requires a little more time on Windows 7 (automatic installation) on first use. Then, it is normally recognized. Pay attention to the direction of the cards because the micro-SD is introduced at the location (circuit down) instead of the SD card (printed circuit up). It is not very intuitive. A blue status light turns on when you plug the key and it flashes while the computer reads the card. The transfers are done quickly but vary according to many criteria (PC class map ...). I have some differences from one PC to another, but it's still fast. By cons, contrary to what was announced, I can not play 2 cards simultaneously. I need to remove one for the other to be recognized. And the problem was the same on 2 PC. It is not very handicap in my case but the description announced simultaneous operation I have not found.

In search of a solution to read my SD and micro SD cards after my card reader has dropped me, I love this drive USB 3.0 cable and without the original format. At 7.99, it is clearly excellent value.
