I am a huge fan of the Assassin's Creed series, so of course could also AC: Revelations not miss on my shelf. Although my AC 2 has much better like it's a must-have for anyone who Ezio has already met and want to know necessarily what happens to Desmond, after the cliffhanger in Brotherhood.
There are a few new features, such as for example the Hookblade. Instead of the simple hidden blade right Ezio receives from his new friends and colleagues in the Opel Konstantin there classic hook blade with which he can more quickly climb on building facades. For this there is still the possibility of a tall building on which a rope is attached to a lower-lying roof runterzurutschen with Hookblade. Very handy when you're in a hurry or want to quickly run away from the guards. Serves but also super to zuzurutschen on guards just to jump and then strike down during landing with the hidden blade.
As already known from the Brotherhood can be here again recruit and train their own assassins. For this purpose they send them back to various cities, with the only difference that every action there diminishes the influence of the Templars in the city and the increase of the Assassins. Until you eventually can conquer the city, and then under Assassin command. To put it but also help to keep, you must occasionally also from time to time do a mission there, otherwise the Templars take over the city.
The more you recruit assassins, the more missions you can do the same. So it is again hostile territory betreteten, kill Captain and then light a fire in the tower. So far so good. But that is far from the end of the story. If you walk too long with a high degree of recognition by Konstantin Opel, then it can happen that the Templars try to acquire the tower again. This is a view, but if you did not arrive in time back to this tower, he is taken before you can fight it. So it can happen that you have to fight through from one side of town to another to still come in time. Helpful of course there are the underground passages that are already all here thankfully unlocked.
So if you have done it and arrive on time at the tower, the tower defense begins. Which is maintained as we know it from other tower defense games. Enemy charges at the tower and one even has different ways to stop him. Assassins is attached to the roof with a rifle or crossbow, barricades on the road, a cannon, air bombers and of course Ezio with his familiar gun at the hidden blade on his left arm.
I've never been a big fan of tower defense games and this part for me is not very interesting. If you manage the defense, one saves the later repetition of the killing of the captain and the signal flare on the tower.
Of course in Constantinople Opel again tombs and caves that can be explored and where to put their skills in climbing the test. This time, fortunately, without these disturbing Romulus supporters but only with a few Templar guards. ;)
Best my emissions have fallen by Altaïr. Although very few, but I found it amazing that he still was not so fit with age. And it was fun, again to do with the Master of the Assassins some missions!
Conclusion:
After I had Brotherhood played out, I naturally wanted to know necessarily what happens next. Well, a lot will not be revealed. But you will be taken again at the end curious, what's next and almost a bit in the air left hanging. This definitely makes you want more and even if Revelations, the last part of Ezio Auditore da Firenze was, I'm looking forward immensely to the next Assassin in Desmond's ancestors!
