With the subsequent volumes, the circle around the story of Bella and Edward pulled natuer under ever closer: secrets were aired, threats were larger so many in this 'everyday and yet magical' world was explicit.
The last band Stepahnie Meyer now leaves completely the field of "what if?" and the outstanding issues. And as satisfying as it may be all the strings attached, all the characters 'supplied' to see - such a shame it's also when such a careful and sensitive starting number in superlatives and striking truths ends. Especially the character of Bella, who was just adorable in their 'human weaknesses', her self-irony and cynicism, loses in this band of sheer personal happiness zusehens to contour and depth of field.
Had I once again the choice, I would go to 'Twilight' no more and prefer to keep the world of Bella and Edward so remember how it was before the subsequent volumes. But probably would have my curiosity but not admitted ...
