Most of what has been written here, I'll sign wholeheartedly. For me, the big hit 7 between the flop Vista and 8. Actually, I wanted only with Windows (was quite extensive image editing barely lift available with 3 GB RAM yet) 8 to convert to 64 bit, after I saw the Consumer Preview and even times had installed, there was an unexpected change of plans. Am now switched from Win7 / 32bit HP to Win7 / 64bit HP and have me set up on Win 8 omit. Also for the 64bit version of Win 7 applies: No Windows has been so completely and so stable. With all bleating about Windows fascinates me again and again that just yet almost everything works well and reliably. Vista I had uninstalled after a few months and sold on eBay, because it never wanted to run stable at me and gave me daily BSODs. Up to 7 appeared I went back to XP ruefully. With Win 7 was for me many things differently and better. Those who still works with Vista or XP should still quiet upgrade to 7, 8 mE is flopping. For me, a 5-star product.
