Not rely on the pious words of the previous reviewers, I also fell for it. Lever base plate and adapter are made of cast aluminum, but the most important thing, the internal mechanism is made of cheap plastic. Has just held a month and is now broken. If that happens, the camera can easily fall off the clutch .. Attached was "only" a Lumix GM-1 and a faulty operation is excluded because I always respected it the locks the plate reasonable. Too bad that a cheap piece of plastic spoils the otherwise very good workmanship.
